Important Pet Boarding Tips for Owners

To help you prep for your pet’s stay with us, we’ve put together some tips:

Food – We strongly encourage you to provide your pet’s own food. Staying in an unfamiliar environment can cause a bit of stomach upset, and having their own diet from home gives pets a sense of comfort and reduces digestive issues. Please provide your pet’s food for the entire duration of their stay and divide meal portions up in individual containers.

If you do not provide your pet’s food, we will provide a standard Hills diet. The charge for kennel-supplied meals is $2.20 per meal for pets under 40lbs and $4.40 per meal for pets 41lbs or over.

Medications – Our trained medical staff is happy to provide medications as needed. Please provide your pet’s medication in its original pharmacy container with clear instructions. There will be a charge of $5.50 for each day medication is administered.

Items from home – While we do provide soft blankets for your pet, you are more than welcome to bring your pet’s own bedding and toys if desired. Please be sure to mark each item clearly so we can return the items to you at the end of your pet’s stay.
