Dawn Martin, DVM
Dr. Martin grew up in Western Pennsylvania where she started working in veterinary medicine as a 16 year old. She is a 1990 graduate of The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine which she describes as the best 4 years of her life, combining her love of learning, medicine and animals. As a senior student, Dr. Martin was awarded the Small Animal Medicine Award, and the Ray S. Smiley Award for outstanding character given by the clinical staff at the college. She completed an internship at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 1991.
Dr. Martin practiced around the country including the states of Washington, California, and Florida before settling in the Carolinas. She loves the combination of animal personalities, medicine, solving puzzling cases and seeing the humor in life’s many challenges.
Dr. Martin is happiest practicing veterinary medicine, but in what free time she has, Dr. Martin also enjoys horseback riding, golf, reading, skiing with her nieces and nephews, and spending time with her cats, dogs and horses.
Linda Connolly, MS, DVM
Dr. Connolly was raised in Ohio and received her bachelor and master degrees in zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio (1987, 1989). She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine (DVM) from the Ohio State University in 1993.
Dr. Connolly is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and is licensed to practice medicine in both of the Carolinas. She lives in south Charlotte, has been married for over 10 years to her husband, Luke, and currently has 3 cats – one deaf, one a diabetic asthmatic, and one who thinks she is a princess. She enjoys music, travel, camping, swimming and golf.
Victoria, Technician Manager
Victoria graduated from Clemson with her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Saratoga, NY and enjoys spending time with her son Max and her dogs Bella and Punky.
Krista, Office Manager
Krista graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She moved to the Carolinas in 2015 from Wisconsin with her husband Van and two sons, Beck & Finley.
Krista spent multiple years in the hospitality industry managing hotels throughout Wisconsin before taking a role as Customer Service Manager for a large Emergency & Specialty Animal Hospital for 5 years. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her dogs Guinness and Kody.
Hannah, Veterinary Assistant
Hannah is currently a senior at Winthrop University, majoring in biology. During her spare time, Hannah works at a farm with Arabian Show horses. She enjoy’s barrel racing and is also a certified Scuba Diver.
Lisa, Customer Service Representative
Lisa has been in the veterinary industry for over 10 years and has a love for rescue animals. Lisa and her husband Richard of 32 years currently have 3 dogs (Chance, Roo and Leo). She loves spending time with her grandson R.J. cooking and playing the Nintendo Wii.
Diane, Customer Service Representative
Diane and her husband, Tim, recently moved to Tega Cay from Flagler Beach, FL. They have 2 grown children, one in Chicago and one in San Francisco. They have two cats Buddy and Lily and one tiny Yorkie named Cali. Diane enjoys spending time outdoors and visiting her children whenever possible.
McKenzie, Customer Service Representative
McKenzie was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC. She and her husband Travis have a son named Levi, daughter named Delila and their dog Ellie Rea. She has worked in the medical industry as a customer service specialist for 4+ years. She enjoys photography and horseback riding in her free time.
Savannah, Veterinary Assistant
Savannah currently attends the University of South Carolina Beaufort and is a South Carolina native. She enjoys spending time with her dog Louie and her time hanging out with friends and family.
